Trousers £285, Loafers £165

For the last day of our 'moloh about town' photo diary Sarah styled a dynamic moloh outfit combining bold, vibrant colours and  fabrics that defy all the rules of traditional styling to create a look that dares to be different and, most importantly, works perfectly.

Our frilly polkadot silk scarf and plaid Eddie jacket are the centrepiece of this fun ensemble and are the perfect antidote to the predictable uniformity that we see everywhere.

However this doesn't mean everything else needs to be pared down; Sarah's outfit is the perfect example of how having the confidence to mix and match contrasting textures allows each item to be a little bit quirky in it's own right without being overpowering. The linen New Yorker trousers have their own subtle charm and our patent loafers bring a glamorous but practical finishing touch.

Day no. 3: Military Flair

Wednesday's outfit celebrated punchy autumn colour and crisp tailoring. Sarah's single breasted pillarbox red military jacket is framed beautifully by the delicate ruffle collar and cuffs of our white Spencer shirt, teamed with elegant New Yorker capris in navy and cream striped irish linen.

Military Jacket £395, New Yorker Capris £230,
Spencer Shirt £185, Loafers £165

Our black leather patent loafers bring professional polish to even the most conservative ensemble, but paired with this structured jacket they bring moloh's military styling to the fore.

Coming soon...'moloh about town' Photo Diary

This week Sarah Smiley tells us what she's been wearing while out and about in London.

You may have spotted her earlier in the week armed with catalogues for our current collection in Parson's Green, Sloane Square, South Kensington and the City. Today she's heading to Notting Hill to meet new moloh customers. Find her and collect your copy of our handbag-sized catalogue, where you'll find an overview of our collection and fabulous moloh styling inspiration.

Make sure to check back here tomorrow for our photo diary - every day we'll post one of Sarah's moloh-styled outfits from earlier in the week.

moloh Military Style

Emmanuelle Alt in Balmain

This winter, moloh outerwear takes on a distinctly military feel. Double-breasted designs, gold and silver crested buttons, high collars and structured tailoring sum up our 2011 collection.  In fact we spotted Paris Vogue editor Emmanuelle Alt recently in a stunning Balmain coat that closely resembles our moloh Llewellyn, from the close-cut fit down to the cuffs with button detail. Fortunately at moloh you can mirror Ms Alt’s look without the Balmain pricetag...
